Overview
After taking the seventh dose, I decided it was best that I take over research on how to reverse it (in fact, I already know how! How exciting.) I appreciate Tails trying to take the stress for me, but I don't know if he's more qualified than I am for this anymore. He is incredibly intelligent, of course, but I know things he doesn't now, and he hits road blocks that I don't. So, that being said, I'm going to be cataloguing everything I know from here on.I've decided I'll leave Tails's original data in yellow. Any additions I will leave will be colored ichor. Or prunkle.. hehe.. anyways.
The Serum: Appearance and Composition
The Ichor serum is unlike anything I’ve seen before. It’s a vivid, glowing magenta liquid, and when injected, it causes Cream’s eyes to glow the same color. The glow is striking, and I can’t help but wonder if it’s more than just a side effect of the serum. There’s something about it that seems… purposeful, as though it’s connected to something greater. On a microscopic level, I discovered something deeply unsettling. The serum contains what appear to be living cells—cells that don’t seem to die. They move independently, as if they’re being drawn in a specific direction. Whatever’s inside this serum, it’s not just a chemical compound. It’s something more, and I’m beginning to think it’s not just altering Cream’s mind, but perhaps something deeper.
Ever since receiving, perhaps, the third dose, I began hearing the voice of Anathema in my head. Anathema, the amalgamation kept prisoner in Dr. Eggman's base.
After establishing her presence in my mind, she's filled in a lot of gaps for me on what the Ichor is and what to expect. Not everything, of course, she's being vague, I believe as to not scare me, but regardless, vague. The Ichor, on a microscopic level, is alive, but not as its own organism, rather an extension of another. It humors me slightly that no one but me speculated on what the word "Ichor" even means.Thebloodof
Anathema is not god, but Dr. Eggman could be easily convinced she was.
I don't think I need to elaborate any further on where the Ichor came from, and why it's components are "alive."
Cream’s Cognitive Enhancement
The most obvious change in Cream is her extraordinary increase in intelligence. Her IQ has skyrocketed to levels I can barely grasp. She’s able to process vast amounts of information at an unbelievable rate, far beyond what any normal brain should be able to handle. I’ve been running tests to measure her cognitive abilities, but every time I think I’ve hit the limit, she surprises me.But with this level of intelligence comes a growing concern. Cream’s mind seems to be racing constantly, and she’s starting to understand things—concepts, patterns—that I don’t think anyone, even someone as brilliant as her, should be able to comprehend. What’s more troubling is how quickly she’s adapting to the serum’s effects. It’s almost as if her brain is constantly accelerating, pulling in more information than she can possibly process.I can only assume the same happened to Cheese, but I was unable to run any tests before his condition abruptly worsened.
Cheese’s Condition
Cheese is, as of recently, in a deep coma, his mind overloaded by the serum’s effects. His neural patterns are erratic, almost like they’re short-circuiting from trying to process too much at once. I’m still monitoring his condition closely, but I’m worried.I had hoped that the serum’s effects would be manageable, but it’s clear now that the difference in Ichor-to-body ratio is incredibly fragile. Cream has adapted, but Cheese couldn’t handle the surge of information. This might be a crucial clue—could the serum be more unstable than I thought? Or perhaps without the final dose, could Cream be spared the full extent of the serum's capabilities?
I don't have much to add here in terms of my cognitive development or the state my chao is in. However, speculation on the Ichor coma is likely to be proven true. What happened to Cheese will happen to me, now that I've been given the final dose. It's just a matter of time.
When Mx. Ana refers to it, she refers to it as a "when," not an "if."
I should add that the "when" also comes with a "when it's over," implying that it's a temporary state that will be followed with a "change" of some sort.
I remember vividly all the ways Dr. Eggman assured me he would change me in a way I would never come back from. Whatever that change would be will likely happen during the coma.Knowing I'll wake up eventually is comforting, not particularly for me, as I'm dreading what comes next, but for Cheese. Maybe he'll wake up before it's my turn and he'll be able to tell me what happens next... considering Mx. Ana refuses to.
The Ichor can be reversed, and I know how. Not the specifics, not yet, I'm not ready to learn that information, but Mx. Ana will help me. After the transformation, she agreed to help me rid my system of the Ichor, and hopefully I can go back to life as normal.People seem disturbed when she says I need her. I think they interpret it in the worst way possible.I don't need her because I'm codependent, but rather, I needed her because without the last dose of her blood, I was going to die.I need her because after I'm broken, she can fix me again.Research on understanding the Ichor is almost entirely irrelevant with that in mind, but for those curious, I suppose it's necessary to offer some consolation that I'm going to be okay no matter what happens.
